The Calm Before the Hauntings

Its official! I'm a married woman! And happily so! We were married on August 9, 2009. Nearly all our friends and family came, which was actually more than we expected! We'd been hoping for a small deal, but ended up with overcrowding. Still, the more the merrier. Apart from a couple of people getting a bit too drunk at the reception, the whole thing was beautiful. Frankly, it was very surreal to me. It felt like I was walking around in a dream the whole time! Henry kept grinning at me all amazingly and who wouldn't adore him? Well, I do, naturally. I'm still in this giddy newlywed, silly, state of mind, mind you. But I'm still able to get down to business when needed.

Most of our honeymoon was spent obsessing over one another, but we couldn't really enjoy anything else anyway while in NYC because to get from point A to point B even if its only a mile or so, can take a long time in that traffic! Still, it doesn't matter because we enjoyed each other and our time together. Even though we always make time for one another, we both have busy work schedules and we don't always get as much free time as we'd like. So having a few days to play and do nothing and anything was a very nice feeling!!!

On the paranormal front, we haven't been hunting in a while now. We've been much to busy obviously. But now that we're back, we've got a trip planned this coming weekend. Up into the mountains of SC, a few hours drive away. We're going to visit some old houses said to be haunted. Not sure if we can see much or do much technically speaking, but it should be an interesting trip if nothing else!

Around the house, while we were gone, my roommates witnessed a new, unusual happening. They both have seen, at separate times this past week, something out of the corner of their eye in the front bathroom mirror. Now, I haven't and my husband haven't, witnessed this as of yet, but I've questioned our roommates and intend to do some hunting myself. Stake out the bathroom tonight or tomorrow night and see if anything unusual happens.

If not, maybe I'll play Bloody Mary. xP But seriously, they've each described seeing something dark and close to the ground, flash as if an animal were running behind them, more than once. They looked but by the time they focused on it, it was gone. I have no idea what it might mean. Or if their imaginations are just working overtime. Maybe time will tell.
